Storage that comes with its own fleet

Our warehousing sits on the same Winsford site as the fleet, so pallet storage, transhipment and onward delivery are handled by one team. If stock needs to be on a trailer the same morning you ring, there is nobody else to wait for.

We support importers holding stock in the UK, manufacturers managing seasonal demand and hauliers needing additional storage or handling capacity.

Load recovery

Restacking shifted and collapsed loads

If freight has shifted, pallets have collapsed or a delivery has been refused because of an unstable load, our Winsford site provides forklift handling and space for restacking and re-securing.

Ring the yard first, then bring it to Winsford and we will unload, restack, re-wrap and re-secure it, then either hand it back or run it on ourselves. If you are carrying for someone else and stuck in Cheshire with a load that has gone over, ring the yard.

Warehousing and transhipment: common questions

Can you restack a load that has shifted?

Yes. If a load has moved, collapsed or been rejected on arrival, we can take the trailer in at Winsford, unload, restack and re-secure it, and get it back on the road.

Do you have forklift facilities?

Yes. Forklift handling is available on site for loading, unloading, transhipment and restacking.

What is transhipment?

Moving a consignment from one vehicle or trailer to another. It is useful when a trailer needs to go back, when a load is being split between destinations, or when a vehicle cannot reach the final delivery point.

Can I store pallets short-term?

Yes. We take short and long-term storage, from a few pallets for a week to regular stock holding.

Do you deliver out of storage?

Yes. We can arrange delivery from storage on our UK fleet or European services, with collection and delivery dates agreed with the traffic office.
