Built on relationships and repeat work
Delphic has been moving freight across the UK and Europe since 1997. The business remains family-run, built on long-standing customer relationships and an experienced team of drivers.
We have traded as Delphic since 1997. The current company, Delphic International Ltd, was incorporated in 2003, which is why its Companies House number dates from then.
From individual consignments to regular full loads, we plan road freight around our customers' collection points, delivery requirements and ongoing transport needs.
Our traffic office manages bookings and transport planning directly, so customers can speak to a team familiar with their freight and regular routes.
The fleet
Our modern fleet pulls curtainsiders, including high-cube and sliding-roof trailers for freight that needs extra height or access from above. Vehicle and trailer selection is matched to the load, collection facilities and delivery requirements.
Our services include UK haulage, European haulage, Italian groupage, ADR and hazardous goods, fertiliser haulage, customs clearance and warehousing and transhipment.
Licences, registrations & training
- Logistics UK member, the UK's largest business group for logistics
- FIAS registered under the Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme, covering the security, safety and traceability of fertiliser movements
- ADR-trained drivers, with correctly equipped vehicles for dangerous goods transport in the UK and abroad
- Goods vehicle operator’s licence OC1069868, issued by the Traffic Commissioner

Our Winsford depot is minutes from the M6 and M56, so we collect and deliver daily across Winsford, Northwich, Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Chester, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Liverpool and the wider North West and Midlands. From there we run to Italy and mainland Europe.
